Here you get Bérénice in the color Badiane. A red-medium brown color where the lighter shades of the silk thread come through.

Bérénice is an extra fine and airy lace yarn that combines the soft, full character of super-kid mohair with the silky shine of mulberry silk and the natural warmth of merino. The result is a yarn that creates a dreamy, almost transparent structure with a subtle halo effect.

Bérénice is a unique blend of extra fine Super Kid Mohair and the soft merino wool that De Rerum Natura is known for, spun around strong, shiny silk yarn and then combed to achieve the fluffy and soft look.

The composition is carefully selected: 55% super-kid mohair from South African farms, 25% mulberry silk from China and 20% organic merino from Arles in France. The yarn is spun in Italy and dyed with organic dyes that meet GOTS requirements, so both the environment and quality are in focus.

Use Bérénice alone or as a companion thread to other yarns to add a soft halo.

The name Bérénice is a tribute to the strong heroine of Racine's tragedy.

Vask & Pleje

Bérénice is not superwash treated. We recommend hand washing at 30°C with wool detergent and drying flat. Avoid rubbing or stretching.
If you want to test the wool program on the washing machine, first try on a knitting sample.
Note: Dark and saturated colors may bleed during the first few washes. If you combine light and dark colors, we recommend rinsing until the water runs clear before drying the work.
