De Rerum Natura was founded in 2012 with one clear ambition: to break with overconsumption and the fast-fashion mentality and instead create yarns that can be passed down for generations. Each yarn is spun, dyed and finished in France.

The wool comes primarily fromMerinos d'Arlesin Provence – one of the finest and most elastic merino qualities in Europe – as well asblack Portuguese merinofrom Alentejo. The natural melanges are created by mixing light and dark fibers, giving each yarn its unique, subtle nuance. The entire production chain - washing, dyeing, spinning - takes place in Europe.
