Beskrivelse
FOG is a unique blown yarn consisting of pima cotton, baby alpaca and merino wool. The alpaca and merino fibers are blown into a fine tube of cotton, resulting in an incredibly light, airy and soft yarn. The yarn is ideal for sensitive skin.
FOG is made from the finest baby alpaca and merino fibers, which are blown into the soft pima cotton core. This results in a finished yarn with a really fine structure and strength that helps the finished knit to retain its shape.
Thanks to the special blow technique, FOG is both very light and voluminous at the same time. This makes the yarn perfect for larger projects like sweaters and cardigans that will be warm and fluffy without feeling heavy.
FOG is particularly suitable for knits worn close to the body, such as turtlenecks, scarves, neck warmers, vests and baby knits. Its exceptional softness means that even very sensitive skin can wear it without irritation.
The yarn also works great in transitional periods and summer. Knitting in FOG is breathable and helps regulate body temperature, so it feels comfortable for many seasons.
FOG is also a very generous yarn. For a simple sweater in size M, you typically only need 5-6 skeins.

Introducing
Gabo Wool
At Broen Garn, we are proud to present Gabo Wool, a modern yarn brand with roots in traditional craftsmanship and a clear respect for natural materials.
Gabo Wool stems from a close relationship with wool and craftsmanship. With experience from wool production in Norway and a clear ambition to work with pure, natural fibers, the brand creates yarn with respect for both the material and the process.
Gabo Wool consistently works with pure, natural fibers. The yarn is made without synthetic materials and is based on wool from sheep in South America, where animal welfare is a natural part of the production. Spinning and processing take place in Peru and the EU, and the colors are developed in Europe with consideration for both the environment and quality.
At Broen Garn we have chosen Gabo Wool for their thoughtful approach to materials and production. The yarn is recognized for its high quality and is appreciated by knitters for both expression and durability.
